Mighty Tea - Orange Dulce Tea Review

I am not the biggest of tea drinkers.  Sure I may be Canadian but honestly I don't like plain black tea with milk and sugar in it.  I'm not a fan of any other kind of tea in general either.  As a member of makeupalley.com and swapping I was sent some pouches of Mighty Tea's Orange Dulce.  Oh My Goodness!  This tea is enough to turn even a non tea drinker such as myself into a tea drinker!

So even if you are a tea lover of different flavours or one who likes plain black tea with sugar (and milk) you should give Mighty Tea's Orange Dulce a try.  It might give you a whole new respect for flavoured tea.

I have been drinking this tea now for over 7 years.  I don't drink it daily.  I do drink it on cold days and on some hot ones too.  It is sweet and delicious.  It has vanilla and a chocolate flavour to it.  It is way more than tea.  It is a drink experience.

I usually purchase it in a box with 15 pouches individually wrapped so I can take it with me.  I fly 3 to 4 times a year and I like to drink this sometimes on an early morning flight.  Since it comes individually wrapped it is so easy to carry with you in your carry on or purse, even to work.

The best part of this tea is that you don't really need to add sugar to it as it has it's own sweet flavour to it and if you need sugar you only need about half a teaspoon of it.  Now I do add milk to it and many of you probably won't do that.  I find that after dinner I like this best instead of a dessert.  It fills my dessert need and not my calorie count.  On a cold evening I like to sit by the fire and drink this.  mmmmmm

From Mighty Tea's Website - Some Info:

Orange Dulce can be drunk like Organic Earl Grey - in the morning, in the afternoon and after dinner. Instead of serving port after dinner, surprise your guest with this rich, chocolately tea. Pairs well with spicy and nutty foods.

Orange Dulce black tea is a luscious, rich brew teeming with notes of orange, vanilla and jasmine blossoms. Made with Ceylon and China black teas, Orange Dulce brews up a fragrant and full bodied dark tea. Reminiscent of an aged Port, the flavor is sure to please.

Black tea, green tea, jasmine flowers, natural flavors

Leaves:  Medium twisted black leaves

Aroma:  Sweet & enveloping orange and vanilla-caramel

Color:  Rich reddish brown liquor

Taste:  Smooth, full Portuguese port-like body with a sweet finish

Aquolina Sensual Perfume - Pink Sugar Fragrance for Woman Review

I am not the most girly-girl. I prefer my clothes to be comfortable rather than stylish. I love track pants, sweats and hoodies. With that said I do love to smell nice. I vary my fragrances as I quit having a signature fragrance a few years back when I went over board and accumulated many fragrances.
I got a 1oz bottle of Aquolina Pink Sugar from a friend and absolutely love it! When I run out I will purchase a full size bottle. I love the sweet scent that lingers on my skin. When I spray this fragrance on in the morning it always brings a smile to my face.
It is long lasting which many fragrances aren't. It stays on my skin for hours. I can even smell it in the later part of the afternoon after I applied it at 8am or so that morning. I get compliments from both men and women on this fragrance.
Some people think that this fragrance is tacky and childish and that smelling like a bakery of cupcakes is not for them. That is their preference. It works on some people and not on others.
I highly recommend this scent to anyone and not to be scared off by the ultra sweet cotton candy top note.
Design House: Aquolina
Year Introduced: 2004
Fragrance Notes: cotton candy, caramel, raspberry, bergamot, licorice, powder, fig leaves, orange, strawberry, and wood.
Recommended Use: Daytime
Side Note:
If you are wanting to purchase Pink Sugar but want it in other forms that Aquolina does not offer you can always try e-tailer dupes of the scent. T-Aromas has a good dupe of Pink Sugar in an oil roll-on. If you check Etsy.com many of the shops there offer different kinds of Pink Sugar fragrances. You can get it in a Goats milk formula, glycerin formula, whipped sugar scrub, body butter, candles and much more. You can purchase Pink Sugar mixed with other scents as well.
Pink Sugar is a delicious scent that smells good on the body as well as in the home. I purchased some Pink Sugar tarts from Cozy Cottage Scents Lasting Scent Candles and my home smells mmmmmmmmm. They even have blends of Pink Sugar with other scents like coconut, vanilla, cake and many more

Quo Luscious Lashes Mascara in Sapphire - Bamboo review

QUO - Bamboo Collection,
Luscious Lashes Mascara in Sapphire, 8.5 g
Made in Italy

Achieve thick, long and luscious lashes with a brush that
separates and coats lashes.

I was in need of a new mascara since my normal Clinique High Impact Mascara in black had started to get flaky and clumpy.  I was at Shoppers and as always I was looking in the clearance area and found this cool looking Quo mascara and it was in sapphire.  I am always on the look out for a new blue mascara.

My review:  The colour is very pretty.  It is a lighter blue than a lot of blue mascaras.  It shows up nicely.  I have dark brown eyes and this lighter shade of blue does not make them pop like most blue mascaras so.  The mascara formula is nice.  It is creamy and applies nicely.  It has a severe smell to it that I do not like.  Due to the light shade and smell I will not repurchase this mascara in the future.

Announcing The Coming of Lila Daley's Musings On Etsy.com!

G'Day!

For the past few months I have been playing around with making different types of jewelry.  I have slowly been purchasing supplies and putting things together.  I plan to open up my own Etsy shop in the next couple of weeks.  It is called LilaDaleysMusings of course.  Makes finding me easier on the wide world web.  I like to keep things simple and the same everywhere.  I hope to see you all there for my grand opening.  I will post on my blog when I open.  I will also preview some items before I open up shop.

I hope to make various kinds of items but right now I am just starting off with beaded jewelry.  I am learning and want to share my new creativity with others.  Up until last year I was only creative with words, I had no clue I could be creative with my hands.  Now I am starting to be able to look at things and see how they fit together and whatever else is need to make them complete.

This is the small area I am starting off with.  I have more items in other containers in the room besides the ones on the desk.  I have good light plus the table light which is very bright.  The bigger desk I have is used for my writing and blogging plus all my other financial things I take care of.

I am very much looking forward to this new opportunity!

How I Store My Tarts and Fragrance Oils

How do you store your tarts, fragrance oils, Wallflowers and Scentports?  I have them in a large Rubbermaid bin that is made for under your bed.  It fits perfectly under my short dresser and is hidden completely.  It is easily accessible but you can't see it.  It hold A LOT!

I have all my fragrance oils in a box with some Bathing garden clam shells and BBW Scentport refills..  Then my tea lights in a smaller plastic bin with cardboard between the layers to keep them from falling over.  On the top layer I now have room for my few wallflower refills in there.

The other four smaller bins hold my bakery, floral, fresh/citrus and gourmand scents separately.  This way I can easily find what type of scent I want.  I then have in the upper right corner my packages of tarts are kept there, they all have some sort of bread scent to them.  Then under them I have a couple BBW mini candles.  I put all my LSC tarts in individual plastic baggies.  They seem to leak and the oil gets everywhere.  This way it is kept in the baggie and doesn't spread to other tarts.

I keep all my candles and candle accessories in a different area of the house.  I have my candles displayed in my living room, none upstairs or in the basement.  The only candles upstairs are the tea light tart burner on top of the dresser.

How do you store your tarts?

Spring is COMING!

Ok, so maybe Spring isn't coming, just yet.  We got some snow this week and it's now turned to ice.  Today is March 1st.  I am beyond the dark, gloom and cold days of winter.  I am working on a Spring Newsletter for a friend of mine and having to search for Spring pics.  Makes me hope it comes soon.  I love Spring.  The days get longer, a tad warmer and sunnier.  Sure Spring brings rain but it also brings beautiful flowers.  My favourites are daffodils,  buttercups and tulips.  May is my favourite time to go to Niagara Falls and see their daffodils on the hills.  The Canadian side is covered in them.  I am thinking too of putting out my yellow flowers in my windows and sunroom.  I am going to probably bring out my Spring scents for my bath and home.  So maybe not melting gingerbread, pumpkin or spruce tree scents until I'm wishing for fall and winter scents during the hot and humid days of July.  I am thinking of putting away most of my wintry scents and bringing out my citrus and floral scents for bath and body products.
